Shades

The NO INHIBITION MULTICOLOR  palette is subdivided into 14 tonal series, plus a series of ultra-blond (highlift), super ultra-blond, a platinum blond, and 1 neutral (clear). All the nuances that compose the 14 tonal series can be mixed together, allowing the creation of infinite tones. All in an easy to use, international numbering system.

How to use:

DIAGNOSIS

Make a technical diagnosis establishing:

• the natural level

• the grey hair %

• the hair type: body – porosity – tenacity – density – elasticity

• the desired result

STANDARD PREPARATION: 1+1,5

In a non-metallic bowl, add 1 part of NO INHIBITION multi-color and 1,5 part of NO INHIBITION® oxidizing emulsion a 10vol. 3%, 20vol. 6%, 30vol. 9%, 40vol. 12% (i.e.: 50g of NO INHIBITION multi-color + 75g of NO INHIBITION® oxidizing emulsion 20vol. 6%).

HIGH LIFTERS PREPARATION: 1+2

In a non-metallic bowl, pour 1 part of NO INHIBITION® ULTRA BLOND permanent colour and add 2.5 parts of NO INHIBITION® oxidizing emulsion a 40vol. 12% (i.e.: 50g of NO INHIBITION multi-color UB + 125g of oxidizing emulsion 40vol. 12%).

FORMULATION / PROCESSING TIME

To darken - oxidizing emulsion 10vol. 3% - min. 30 min*

For lightening up to maximum 1 level - oxidizing emulsion 10vol. 3% - min. 30 min*

​

For lightening from 1 to 2 levels - oxidizing emulsion 20vol. 6% - min. 35 min*

​

For lightening from 2 to 3 levels - oxidizing emulsion 30vol. 9% - min. 40 min*

​

For lightening from 3 to 4 levels - oxidizing emulsion 40vol. 12% - min. 45 min*

APPLICATION

Apply milk_shake® color specifics powerful protector on the whole hair outline. Wear gloves and apply the colour on dry, unwashed hair (only if hair is extremely greasy or there is a high quantity of styling products, should you wash it before).  For porous hair, milk_shake® pro color equalizer should be used in order to normalize the porosity of hair and to improve the final result.

SERVICE TYPE

Colour with nuances with a darker level or with the same level: apply the mixture on the roots, on the lengths and on the ends, leave in 30 minutes.

Lightening colour: apply the mixture 2 cm from the re-growth up to the ends, leave in 20 minutes. Prepare again the same mixture and apply it on the re-growth; leave in another 30-45 minutes. For the lengths application, it is recommended to use a higher oxidizing power than the one used on the roots, in order to obtain a higher colour intensity and brightness.

Colour with ULTRA BLOND series: apply the mixture 2 cm from the re-growth up to the ends, leave in 20 minutes. Prepare again the same mixture and apply it on the re-growth. Leave in another 45-60 minutes.

Retouch colour: apply the mixture only on the natural re-growth and leave in 30-35 minutes. Then, in order to refresh the colour on lengths and ends, choose and apply a nuance of milk_shake® direct color or milk_shake® smoothies and leave in another 5-10 minutes.

Retouch colour with ULTRA BLOND series: apply the mixture only on the natural re-growth and leave in 45-60 minutes. To refresh the colour on lengths and ends, choose and apply a nuance of milk_shake® direct color or milk_shake® smoothies and leave in another 5-10 minutes.

RINSING

At the end of the recommended processing time, add some warm water and massage the colour for about 2 minutes, then rinse abundantly and apply milk_shake® color specifics acid color sealer, distributing it on the whole hair. Massage for 2 minutes without rinsing and go on with the shampoo with milk_shake® color sealing shampoo, then condition with milk_shake® color sealing conditioner, massage for 2 minutes, rinse and go on with the desired styling.  If any residue should be left on the skin, delicately remove with milk_shake® instant remover.

OXIDIZING EMULSION

 These are studied specifically in order to act in synergy with NO INHIBITION MULTICOLOR and develop a greater expression of pigments contained in the formula. 

NO INHIBITION oxidizers, developed in four versions, are creamy, perfumed and conditioning and have a delicate action on the scalp and hair, thanks to special soothing and protective substances.

NEWTON’S DISK

All of the NO INHIBITION MULTI-COLOR range can be represented through Newton’s Disc so that the composition of pigments of each single color can be visualized.

THE CHOICE OF COLOR 

As mentioned before, not all hair is the same, and this characteristic can in some cases create a different result to the one that was expected. In order to avoid this it is necessary to make a brief diagnosis before each application of color. In the case of there being a lot of white hairs, the advice is to use a darker color than the one chosen, as this will make sure that there will be a correct coverage of the hair. In the case of a minimal presence of white hair, the advice is to use a lighter color than the chosen result, as this will avoid the possible “heaviness” of color. If more than 20/30% of the hair is white, then in order to obtain good coverage, the advice is to use natural nuances, either on their own or combined with the desired effect.

USING THE COLOR CARD 

The color card is to be considered as a fundamental instrument for the hair stylist as it helps to anticipate the final results, it simplifies communication with the client and stimulates the inclination towards change, promoting hair coloring. However one must consider that the reference locks of hair only represent the type of tone and the level that we are using, not the final result which, as we have already mentioned, can vary according to the different types of hair.

THE CORRECTORS 

The formula of correctors does not have a level, but does have a well-defined tone. This characteristic influences the result of neutralization or accentuation of tone independently of the level.

Y Yellow 

Augments the intensity of yellow and it is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula. 

V Purple 

Augments the intensity of purple and it is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula. 

R Red 

Augments the intensity of red and it is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula. 

B Blue 

Augments the intensity of blue and contrasts copper tones, it is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula. 

S Silver 

Neutralizes warm tones (golden) in lighter levels and it is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula. 

C Neutral 

This is a lightening amplifier to be combined with different nuances or to be used on its own, mixing it with various oxidizers, as a delicate lightener without any tone. It is advised to add it to a color mix with a maximum quantity of ¼ of the total formula.
